Long-term slope stability can be obtained with Secugrid^® geogrids, either alone or in conjunction with other geosynthetic materials. In select cases, a contaminated area may have no bearing strength and conventional construction methods are not possible. In dredged lagoons for example, the area to be sealed cannot be trafficked nor walked upon due to the lack of bearing strength in the subgrade.
