Classified Road Construction

more information
In the "Guidelines for the specification of traffic areas", a set of standard construction details are given for specific types of roads depending on their intended usage and service life. By including reinforcement geosynthetic products in these standard construction details, a technically equivalent (or superior) design can be achieved by reducing the expensive mineral base course material thickness. If the subsoil of the intended road construction does not have sufficient bearing capacity, geosynthetic reinforcement can also be used in the stabilization of the subsoil...    more information

Construction Roads and Heavily Trafficked Areas

more information
Geosynthetic system solutions are used in the construction of temporary roadways and trafficked areas which are not classified under national guidelines, such as construction roads, parking lots, forest paths as well and access roads...    more information

Slope Stabilisation

       Secugrid® in use.

Cross-section of a soil reinforcement of farming access roads. The composite product Combigrid® is installed on the weak subsoil and covered with the base course material. With this method the bearing capacity of the base course is improved and the filter stability between subsoil and base course material is ensured.

To prevent settlements in the new construction of the storage site for wings of wind mills it was necessary to place a Secugrid 60/60 Q1 geogrid under the base course. To additionally improve its performance and reduce settlements Secugrid® was pre-stressed up to 2 %. In several areas a second reinforcement was necessary and Combigrid® 40/40 Q6/201 GRK 3 was used.
